ERYN CADE
Eryn Cade is an interdisciplinary artist and dance educator from Fairfield, Alabama, and a graduate of the University of Alabama (UA). Eryn is currently pursuing her master’s degree in dance at UA as her thesis centers around the hypersexualization of her own body as a Black woman in dance. Eryn has danced professionally with the Atlanta Dance Connection, the JellyBean Dance Collective, and Komanse’s Dance Theater. While at the Jellybean Dance Collective, she traveled internationally to Toulouse, France with the Collective to discuss the challenges of Zelda Fitzgerald's life in June of 2019. Eryn performed with Tony! Toni! Tone!, Bootsy Collins, Sheila E., and Pastor Mike Jr. in opening and closing ceremonies for the World Games. Over the years, Eryn has been awarded many scholarships to summer training intensives including American Ballet Theatre, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Emerge 125 (formally known as Elisa Monte Dance), Radio City Rockettes, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
